The Heart Behind Beyond Behavior Consulting
Some people plan their careers carefully. Mine found me.
In 2009 I was a college student still figuring out my direction when a friend asked if I’d take over her position as a behavior therapist before she headed off to grad school. I said yes— and I never looked back. What started as a favor turned into a calling. I fell in love with this work immediately and have spent the last 15+ years learning, growing, and deepening my understanding of what it truly means to support human beings through behavioral change.
My path to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) wasn’t a straight line—it had twists, detours, and lessons I wouldn’t trade for anything. Along the way I also earned my Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology, giving me a rare dual lens that bridges the gap between clinical behavior science and the educational systems our kids navigate every day. That combination shapes everything I do—whether I’m working with a family at home, consulting with a school team, or supporting an athlete on the field.
I founded Beyond Behavior Consulting because I believe everyone deserves quality, compassionate support—and I mean everyone. Whether you are a parent navigating the hard days, a student who deserves better from the school system, an athlete ready to unlock your mental edge, or an employee trying to thrive in a workplace that wasn’t built with you in mind—you deserve someone who will stick with you until you reach your desired results. Not just get you started. Actually see it through.
My approach is rooted in behavior science but delivered without the jargon. I believe in teaching skills naturally, in real life, through play and genuine connection. I weave in growth mindset and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) because lasting change isn’t just about behavior. It’s about values, flexibility, and learning to work with yourself instead of against yourself.
Outside of this work I’m a homeschooling mom on the Central Coast who loves to bake sourdough, soaking up every minute with my family and finding constant inspiration in the people and landscape around me.
I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s figure out what’s possible together.
